Suite Apart Miraflores - El Chipe

A quiet place to stay.

The kitchenware was in rough shape, with both pans burnt and one of the two pots missing its lid. There weren’t consistent amounts of plates and cutlery, and no dishwasher was provided at first. We also couldn’t use the garage as promised. When we arrived, the place was filthy: food-covered sofas, dirty pans, and bathrooms full of hair.

The service was excellent from booking through the end of my stay, and I’d easily give it five stars if a few things were sorted out. Staff weren’t wearing uniforms, the restrooms needed disinfectant labels, and the jacuzzi’s metal details needed corrosion removed. If those issues are addressed, I’ll give it five stars on my next visit. I highly recommend the place.

I had a good time here last year, but this visit was bad enough that I switched to another hotel and don’t plan to return. The room wasn’t cleaned well, breakfast arrived late, and then they served me a rotten-smelling breakfast. At night, even though it’s in a residential area, you can hear doors slamming and people yelling. I do NOT recommend it.
