The outdoor patios were lovely places to unwind, and the whole stay at Elena's place was really nice. It was clean and peaceful, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. I was recovering from my dieta, and Elena looked after me with so much care and love. Her food is well worth recommending too. Thank you, Elenna 🙏🏼♥️🙂

The rooms are simple but clean, and I loved the welcoming gardens and relaxed outdoor areas surrounded by nature. The homemade food Elena prepared was fresh and dieta friendly, and you could taste the care in it compared with other hotels and hostels in Pucallpa. From my first WhatsApp message, Elenita welcomed me into her home and family with so much love and support. She created just the right setting for my healing work with ayahuasca, before and after my diete. Sol De Mayo will be my place to stay whenever I return to Peru. Elena speaks French, Italian, English, and more, and she helped me find the right Shaman for my Ayahuasca retreat. She has a great energy and takes EXCELLENT care of her guests. Sol de Mayo feels like HOME right AWAY. A friend recommended it and I quickly fell for the place. It's calm, clean, and relaxing, with wood throughout, pretty Ayahuasca themed paintings, a lovely backyard, a handy little kitchen, and hammacs. It's around 15 minutes from Pucallpa plaza de Armas. An amazing hostel if you're after a peaceful setting and a great vibe.
