The meal was the highlight, especially the scallops. We had them as ceviche and grilled in their shells with Parmesan and butter, then finished with spaghetti in a spicy sauce loaded with crab and shrimp. The panko-crusted langoustines were sublime too. Honestly, I challenge anyone to find tastier scallops anywhere. The Pisco sours were superb, made with Pisco from a local family distillery. The place itself is a beautiful, peaceful haven, with a scallop farm and a boutique hotel. From the minute we arrived, everyone made us feel welcome. Angel, our waiter, was so warm and kind, and nothing was too much trouble. Luis, the owner, came over to introduce himself and chat. What a lovely, interesting man. I can see why Lonely Planet called this one of its favorite coastal lunch spots. Can't wait to come back. Highly recommend a visit.

The service was excellent, and so was the food.

The bathrooms were comfortable and reasonably clean, which is a rare detail in such a remote spot. There’s plenty of parking if you arrive by car or motorcycle. The service is simple, in keeping with the natural surroundings, but the staff were attentive and friendly. Inti Mar sits in a quiet bay at the tip of Paracas National Park, near the salt mines. It looks unassuming, but the ingredients are outstanding, with fresh local seafood caught and served authentically. Scallops are the main draw, and I’d especially recommend them raw with lime and a little olive oil, or grilled à la parilla. Both were fresh, fragrant, flavorful, and delicate. The Asian rice with shrimp and eggs was a nice surprise too, carefully prepared and well balanced. For drinks, the passion fruit pisco sour was fresh and aromatic, and the homemade lemonade suited the reserve’s dry climate. Book ahead on WhatsApp, especially on weekends or in high season. In winter, the restaurant closes at 3:30 PM, in line with Paracas National Park’s closing time. It’s an authentic place for people who enjoy the flavors of the sea and eating close to nature.

The Conchas de Paracas are especially worth trying, and they come in all sorts of variations. Great food, too, in a beautiful setting. For me, it's the best restaurant in Paracas!

The view, atmosphere, and service were excellent, and I think the prices are worth it for the quality and setting, even though they're a bit higher than at other restaurants. Most of what we ordered was excellent: sea bass tiradito, spicy crab with prawns, spaghetti with scallops, and prawns in huancaína sauce. The fried and grilled fish were good as well. The one drawback was the timing. Dishes came out as they were ready, so the waits could be long. We waited for everyone to have their food before starting, which meant some of the first courses had already gone a bit cold. This may be typical in Peru. It’s happened to me elsewhere too, and you can end up eating alone, then watching the others eat.
