The staff at Chimicuas house were so helpful that I'd give the place more than five stars if I could. When the main bus company was full, they called around and even drove us into town to sort out a bus to Brazil. They also helped us a lot with basic Spanish lessons. Rosa and the others made our stay wonderful. The location is handy for the bus station, under a five-minute walk, and tucked away from the main road, so there was very little traffic at night. It's about an hour's walk from the main plaza. Beds were comfortable, and the superior room was spacious and cost the same as a standard double. The staff were excellent and friendly, and a couple spoke great English. Highly recommended!

It's a small, very clean family-run hotel, around 2 km from the centre of pto. Maldonado and the airport. Breakfast was fantastic, and the ride to the airport was included.

I'm from Medellín, Colombia, and this is one of my top places to stay in Puerto Maldonado. It was comfortable, clean, and quiet, with excellent service and a staff that felt like family. Everyone was warm and friendly. I'd recommend it without hesitation if you're looking for a different kind of stay with family or friends.

A great hotel, with everything clean and well organized. You can see how much care the owners put into the place in all the little decoration details. There's a garage, pets are welcome, and breakfast is spectacular.
