Hilton Garden Inn Lima Surco

After a long day of sightseeing, I found my room had been cleaned every day without me needing to ask. They kept the coffee fresh and refilled, and there were clean towels waiting for me. I traveled on my own and got excellent service. Next time, I'll definitely come back with my whole family.

The rooms were okay, but nothing about them felt five-star. There were no robes or slippers, and no room service. Then they fumigated the restaurant and kitchen, so there was no food, and breakfast opened right afterward. There hadn't been time to air or clean the space, even though the poison is supposed to be left alone for 24 hours before people re-enter. Why fumigate every couple of months at a supposedly five-star hotel? I expected a nice American Hilton stay and left very disappointed.

The smoke spread through the whole building while guests were sleeping. We couldn't breathe inside or sleep all night, so we went out onto the balcony for air. It's harmful to people's health, and it made the stay feel unsafe. I waited three hours in the lobby asking to be moved to another hotel, but nobody seemed able to handle it. There was no one in charge. This happened at Hilton, and the service from FD manager-Claudia was bad.

The valet staff were super nice, and Roger at the front desk was really friendly too. I'd definitely come back.
