Mercé Hotel

Getting around is easy, with public transport and taxis right outside, and the location is spectacularly central. We had an excellent room for three at a very good price. The hotel has parking, and breakfast was good and adequate. The room, bathroom, and beds were all very good, and the staff were attentive.

The July 28th Fair and other interesting places are nearby, so this would work well for a couple of nights. I liked our clean, tidy double room, the quiet nights, and the consistently excellent service from the staff. Breakfast could use more options, and the bathroom felt small and cramped. There weren't enough hand towels, and water pooled while I showered. That last issue seemed minor to me, though, and these are things they could improve.

There was too much noise from outside, and the rooms are packed close together and very cold. The facilities are poor, and breakfast was frankly bad with little variety.

The main drawback is that there's no elevator, and access only goes up to the fifth floor. That could be a problem for someone with reduced mobility. Otherwise, it's well located and good value for a weekend away.
