Hotel Turín

The staff gave excellent service, and the garage is spacious. It is a bit far from the city center. The hot water needs work: it takes a long time to heat up, then cools down for no apparent reason.

The food was delicious, but the location wasn’t great. The only person who gave us excellent service was the guy in the blue jacket and glasses. I can’t remember his name. Everyone else, from reception to the restaurant, was terrible and acted like helping us was a favor.

There’s a secure garage, which was a plus, but for the price we’ve stayed in much better hotels, even for less. Our room wasn’t very clean, with plenty of hair left in the shower, though the hot water worked. We had dinner there because of the good reviews. The burger was a bit cold and tasted average. The Huancaina pasta was cold and rather poor. Breakfast wasn’t very good either. We asked for juice without sugar, but it arrived sweetened. When we asked about it, they said it had already been prepared. That’s understandable, but they could have mentioned it. Otherwise breakfast was basic: fruit juice, egg, bread, and jam.

The hotel is nice and clean, and although the parking is a little small, it was fine. My issue was the price. We agreed on 185 soles for the room when I called, but at checkout they said it was 250. They didn’t honor the price we’d agreed on, and I ended up paying 200.
