The rooms are beautiful, the service courteous, and the breakfast buffet was great. This historic house belonged to a Peruvian president in 1899. It’s only two blocks from the Plaza de Armas, so you can walk to museums and restaurants.

After a day of sightseeing, the patio is a lovely place to unwind. The hotel is built with volcanic stone, and the rooms have high ceilings and are comfortable. The staff are very friendly, and breakfast comes with plenty of local fruit and vegetables and freshly baked bread. Laundry is available at a reasonable price. Restaurants and shops are all around, and it’s about a five-minute walk to the city center.

I planned to stay one night and ended up spending four. This historic house in central Arequipa is a real gem, with a peaceful patio, wonderful staff, and a very good breakfast. I loved my stay and will be back.

I’m glad I picked this place instead of a standard hotel. It’s a former mansion, and staying there felt like being part of history. The rooms are beautifully designed, with high ceilings, and anyone who enjoys historic buildings will appreciate them. The mansion once belonged to a Peruvian president who served from 1899 to 1903. He bought it during that period and lived here after his term. The staff were very friendly, everything was spotless, and the location was convenient. I stayed for two nights and really enjoyed it.
