The garden produce made the meals especially memorable, and Francesca's cooking was delicious. We even got to try wonderful avocados picked from their own plantation. Between hikes to Chonta Canyon and Laguna Humantay, this place became the highlight of our Peru trip. Miguel and Francesca have put so much care into building it, and the gardens are beautiful. We’d happily recommend staying here.

Miguel and Francesca made us feel right at home. With those magnificent views of the snow-capped mountains, it’s a lovely place to unwind, go hiking, visit Cusco, or explore the Sacred Valley.

The patasca soup I ordered was just hominy and water. When I asked where the meat was, I was told it came that way. Service was terrible too. The young woman working there was very rude and seemed to think highly of herself. She kept yelling at the waitress throughout my stay. Several people left dissatisfied, and I can’t recommend this place.

We only stayed one night at Reposo del Angel, but the welcome made it feel like a family reunion from the moment we arrived at the airport. We shared a meal with the family and talked around the table like we’d known one another for years. The place felt secluded and peaceful, a calm stop in the middle of a long journey. I can recommend Reposo without reservation.
