Hospedaje Iroaki

For 30 soles a night, we got a basic double room with its own bathroom in a great location. They initially asked for 50, but the price can be negotiated. We were happy with our stay at Hotel Iroaki. When we went to Lagunas for five days, they kept our luggage and valuables safely and professionally at no charge. Wi-Fi didn't reach every room, though it worked decently in the shared areas. We also booked a canoe trip in Pacaya-Samaria National Park from the lobby through Julio Cesar, a Tibilo Tours representative we found reliable and honest.

The fourth-floor room made this a terrible stay for my family and me. The walls were scratched and unpainted, the mattresses felt itchy, and we had to ask for sheets because none were provided. The bathroom water barely reached us unless we stood right by the wall. The TV was a very basic model with a huge screen, and its signal kept dropping. Even the fan, the only thing that worked, sometimes stopped. It was such an awful experience that I came away hating Yurimaguas.
