From the room, the beach is right across the road and fully in view. The rooms are basic but very clean, and Sr Wilmer is attentive and helpful. If you ask a day ahead, they can serve breakfast, lunch, or dinner at tables facing the ocean. We had very fresh fried fish with tasty banana fritters and cerbiche. There are hammocks too, perfect for relaxing.

I needed somewhere to rest and recover after weeks of nonstop travel, and Wilmer and Victoria made my stay so relaxing. I’ll always remember how kind they were, and I had many delicious meals right on the beach. Their funny dog, Gratos, sometimes kept me company. The town is close enough to walk to for an ATM or supplies, though some people may prefer a tuktuk. There’s also a nice lighthouse and viewpoint you can walk to from the hostel. The family looking after you is so friendly and makes you feel at home. Staying here for a few days was the best decision, a beautiful experience I won’t forget. Definitely recommend it if you want to relax, and the food is delicious.

It’s usually a quiet spot, though Peruvians tend to play loud music, and that happened here too. I’d definitely return. The place is beautiful and clean, right on the beach with loungers, seating, and parasols. The kitchen is well equipped, the bathroom has good water pressure, and the owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. They can also make a fresh lunch on-site if you need one.
