Le spot

Our apartment had AC :-) Le spot is in a great location, just a few meters from the ocean. Bring earplugs for sleeping, though: the rain on the tin roof is loud, and when there's swell the ocean sounds very strong.

Vaiana, the housekeeper, greeted us and was very pleasant. But we regretted not seeing anyone else throughout our stay. The hosts had already insisted on the accommodation rules before we arrived, which felt very strange. When we left, we made arrangements with our neighbors to store our luggage, as nothing is provided for guests. The accommodation itself is spacious and well equipped, but service matters too, especially in Polynesia, where people are remarkably welcoming. We'd never experienced this before. Maybe it's because the rentals aren't managed by locals.

Moana's warmth and smile were lovely. The accommodation is simple and practical, with a sheltered veranda that's really pleasant. The best part is being able to walk straight to the beach for sunset.

The house was functional and the garden was lovely, but the beach isn't usable. The sunsets are beautiful, though, and you'll need a car because it's far from everything. I found the host unpleasant and dishonest, so I can't recommend the place. And about calling you dishonest: that's not a myth. The photo of your garden and your cup proves it ;)
