The couple who runs the apartment was really helpful and friendly. We borrowed the hotel kayak and had a great time exploring nearby and looking at the corals. The beach right in front of the apartment was a perfect spot to watch the sunset.

The car felt unsafe to drive, so I brought it back within a few hours and explained the mechanical problem. The owner first insisted nothing was wrong, then got arrogant and said he’d have a mechanic check whether I had damaged it. That ruined half my day, and I missed dinner. The next morning he said the mechanic had cleaned a wheel and hoped it would run better, while still refusing to refund any of what I’d paid for 24 hours. I didn’t even get an apology. I rented through my hotel. Don’t rent from this guy!

The owner was so helpful and nice, and both the rooms and location were perfect. Couldn’t recommend the place more!

The snorkeling is great right across the road, opposite a family beach that isn’t listed on Google. Jeanro also lent us kayaks for trips around the lagoon and gave us plenty of tips, which made the rest of our stay fantastic. It’s a rather authentic place, and I’d recommend it, though the initial welcome was mixed: because of a booking error, Jeanro charged us an extra €105 for three people instead of two, even though nothing actually changed. The bedroom sits behind the bathroom, an odd layout. It’s not an open-plan house, and you should expect local wildlife like mice, lizards, and ants in a tropical setting. Overall, good accommodation.
