The local breakfast each day was simple but outstanding, a nice break from the usual bacon and eggs. The Nespresso machine in the room was a good touch, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It has an understated charm and elegance, like a private getaway, and the value is so clear I almost hesitate to share how wonderful it is. I’ll definitely return. One warning: the AC works too well.

A wonderful quiet, laid-back place to stay in moorea. We loved the managers, the rooms, the sunsets, and the location. The kitchen was useful and well stocked too.

We loved being able to step right out to the swimming lagoon, relax with wine on the lounge chairs, and make breakfast in the outdoor kitchen. To me, this felt more intimate and upscale than the big-wig hotels, and it wasn’t far from the Ferry terminal. One of our best vacation stays yet!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and there was plenty to do nearby and in the lagoon. We had a wonderful stay at the Poerani. Our accommodation was clean and well kept, and the kitchen was handy for breakfast and snacks. Highly recommend!

Suzanne and Vanaa were among the nicest people you could meet. They helped us every day, including arranging transfers and trips. The grounds are exceptionally well kept, and the accommodations have Polynesian styling and carvings. Our place included a handy kitchen, the beds were very comfortable, the AC worked great, and everything was clean. There’s excellent French pastry at the local grocery store, just a few minutes’ walk away. We were the only tourists up at 6 a.m. for it! The lagoon behind the property is great for kayaking. Some reviews mention road noise and smoke, and yes, there is some, but it’s barely worth mentioning. Definitely recommended. Please say hi to Suzanne and Vanaa!
