The staff here were friendly, helpful, and hardworking. We appreciated having a washer and bicycles available, along with the convenient food options. You can order from the on-site restaurant and have the food brought to your room at no extra charge. There's also an affiliated Chinese restaurant that delivers to the room. We stayed in one of the two rentals with water views. It had two air-conditioned bedrooms, a living room, a full kitchen, and a bathroom. The living room and kitchen only had a fan, though, and got quite hot and humid. The breeze outside was much cooler. A lovely covered deck overlooking the water was a perfect place to eat. The water was choppy, so it wasn't suitable for water activities, but the sound of the waves was lovely. There were hermit crabs on the beach, and plenty of seating where you could read, sunbathe, or nap.

The waves put us to sleep every night, and morning walks along the beach were a lovely way to start the day. Moorea Golf Lodge was peaceful, with pristine bungalows just minutes from the ferry and airport. Ours was right on the beach, with a view of Tahiti when the weather and fog allowed. Kevin and the rest of the staff were friendly and accommodating. It made a great base for exploring Moorea.

It's a quiet lodge, apart from the noise when planes come in to the airport across the street. The location is a bit isolated, so having a car or motor scooter is best. There's not much of a beach here, and the lagoon is really small. You can walk left to the point for a better beach and lagoon, or head down or drive to the public beach.

Kevin was a great host and helped us with everything. The view of the ocean was beautiful, and in the morning whales came to within about 50 meters of the beach. The place was clean and cozy. One tip for anyone visiting the island: rent a car for your stay. Thanks so much, and best wishes :)

The location is beautiful, right on the beach, and the place was amazing. Be sure to try the fish burger, it's amazing!
