This was a terrible place, in a very old building. Don't even look at the mattress. There was no soap, and I couldn't shower because the temperature control wouldn't work. Breakfast was two stale coffee bags in a drip machine, and the coffee came out only warm. They called a voucher for one croissant at the bakery next door "breakfast," but when I went at 0815 they were sold out, and there was no other option. Carlos wanted an extra 3000 francs to drive four of us the extra 1 km to the cruise port, so we walked. Our flight delay meant we arrived three hours late, checked in at 0600, and left at 1000. No shower, no breakfast. A$187 felt like a rip-off. I contacted the property to relay my disappointment and got no reply. I suspect many places in Papeetee are similar, since most cruise passengers are there for just one night.

A lovely studio in a great spot, close to cafes, restaurants, and the port. The market is about a 10-minute walk away 👌

There are lots of places within walking distance, and the accommodation itself was decent. Carlos is the reason for the five stars, he was so helpful and welcoming.
