Moana Breeze Eco Lodge

The apartment was spacious and comfortable, and we'd be thrilled to return one day. Marco and his family made us feel so welcome and did everything they could to make sure we enjoyed Rangiroa. We had bikes to get around or ride to the grocery store, and Marco was happy to drive us if we needed to go somewhere. He also helped organize excursions and day trips.

The food at Moana Breeze was the best we tried across all the French Polynesian islands we visited. Marco made fresh meals with local fish and vegetables, pasta, and all kinds of Italian and Polynesian ingredients. One night he even made authentic Italian pizza. Breakfast was lovely too, with fresh bread, homemade yogurt, and jams made from local produce. The lodge is renovated, modern, fully furnished, and set up with a range of eco measures. The cozy apartment has mosquito nets, a full kitchen, a big living room, bathroom, and bedroom. At night, you can sleep with the ocean breeze blowing through. I've lived in five different countries and have traveled the world since I was 18, and this was the best stay of my life. Tiputa is the more unspoiled, authentic side of Rangiroa. Marco went above and beyond, arranging excursions and transfers and checking that everything was going well. When my next stay in Fakarava was cancelled the day before my flight, he let me extend my stay at Moana Breeze by moving to the other apartment. Both were booked, but he still helped me find accommodation for my last night in Rangiroa. I felt so spoilt. My wife and I shared lots of stories with Marco about our lives, past and present. I'll never forget my time in Tiputa. Thanks, Marco and Enrica. People like you make the world a better place.

The thoughtful environmental touches, stocked kitchen, bikes, and fresh-baked baguette each morning made the property lovely. Marco and Enrica, along with their friendly dog Iggy, were warm, accommodating hosts with so much information and stories to share. They're also incredible cooks. They made the two best meals of our whole 10-day trip. Moana Breeze was just right for our few days on Rangiroa, and we'd highly recommend it.

The hosts were super friendly and helped us plan each day. They cooked really good vegetarian food too. The only downside is that sometimes you have to cross the channel to do activities on the main island.
