The setting is wonderfully romantic, with a view over the small islet, stunning sunsets, a private white sand beach, and lots of marine life. There are kayaks for exploring the lagoon or heading out to the islet. And Caramel, the adorable cuddly cat, deserves a mention too. The hosts were always available and showed true Polynesian hospitality. They greeted us with fragrant flower leis, and added many thoughtful touches throughout our stay.

We settled in right away and felt at home. The villa has everything you need, and we loved being able to kayak and explore. The welcome was warm and attentive, and the sunsets were magnificent. Thank you, Juliette.

The setting at Fare Tetahora is hard to beat: from the garden there's private access to a little beach, and the sea views are magical, especially at sunset with Bora Bora in sight. The house is set back from the road, which felt like a real plus, and it has canoes, comfortable beds, impeccable cleanliness, and all the amenities we needed. We think it's the best location in Raiatea. Most of all, Maima, Laurent, and their children made our stay unforgettable. Their kindness and generosity are rare, and they clearly love sharing time with travelers. We arrived as travelers and left as friends. We recommend staying for at least 4 hours.

We came away from our family holiday with so many memories. The house is in a magical spot, with a breathtaking view, and everything felt comfortable and impeccably kept. Thanks for the warm welcome when we arrived. Mauruuru roa!

Just a short visit, but a lovely one. The little beach was great for heading back with a child, and the place was clean with equipment available.
