The view made the trip up worthwhile, even though our tricycle couldn’t get all the way to the resort. The owners and workers were incredibly welcoming, and the food was great, especially the garlic butter prawns. Our cottage was clean, roomy, and comfortable, though it had no hot running water and the TV was broken. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a different feel from a modern hotel with uniformed staff.

We’ve spent two weekends here with the family and came away very happy both times. The owners are warm, hospitable people who take good care of their guests. There’s plenty to do, from island hopping and swimming in the cool, clear stream’s natural pools to hiking up the nearby hills. The restaurant is lovely, built with local wood, and its ocean view is even better than the one from the room. The menu has lots of good options. The private house has clean, comfortable rooms with huge king-sized beds and a superb view over the ocean. Now they have their own private boat too. It’s worth taking an afternoon to enjoy the atmosphere, and booking a room gives you time to try the activities.

The host was really friendly and accommodating, and the location has breathtaking views. My room was comfortable and spotless, and the food was delicious. I had the Chicken Curry and would recommend it. The new pool is a nice spot to cool off, and I’d definitely stay here again. About the Rat lady review, she never actually stayed here and is just an online troublemaker.

It’s a wonderful spot at the top of the mountain, with a perfect view over the ocean. Sitting in the restaurant, looking out at the clear blue water of Ajuy Bay while eating a delicious meal, is really relaxing. They also have cottages for guests staying overnight.
