The food and drinks were perfection, and each wedding venue has its own style for different couples. The gardens are breathtaking, and the grounds are so huge that walking around can make you feel like you’re almost the only guests there. We’ll definitely consider having our wedding here.

At checkout, we were charged for face towels that had never been in our room. We pointed out that none were provided, but the staff still insisted the set was complete and didn’t correct the bill. They had already gone into the CR twice during our stay to double-check, so there was ample chance to see the towels were missing. Being billed for something we didn’t receive was frustrating, especially after staff had checked the bathroom themselves. This left a really bad impression. I hope the hotel improves its inventory checks and responds to guest concerns more fairly.

We drove from Makati to Tagaytay for an ocular appointment and left feeling completely ignored. The security guard asked us ten different questions, which felt like an interrogation, and we didn’t feel welcome. I’d been messaging since October 5, and the appointment for October 17 had been confirmed as “noted,” but no one from sales ever contacted or followed up with us. At the office, we waited 20 minutes, then were taken to the “blue room” to meet the salespeople, where we waited again. Nobody seemed to know what was happening. The whole visit felt disorganized, unprofessional, and embarrassing for a resort meant to be reputable. This was especially disappointing because we had tried to coordinate for days. With a little professionalism, they could have had a full week’s stay from guests who have shared stages with Tony Robbins and Oprah Winfrey, using the amenities daily and bringing exposure to the brand. Instead, the team showed no urgency, awareness, or business sense. Opportunities like this don’t come twice, and they shut the door on one. Truly disappointing.

The wedding planning was smooth and enjoyable thanks to the team. Jemar, the Hill Creek Events Coordinator, was patient and responsive, and handled the details gracefully even at busy times. Lyza from The Blue Room helped with catering and gave us great suggestions. The package felt like good value, with a complimentary wedding car for 3 hours, ceremony and reception styling budget, lights and sound, printed menus and place cards, a 3-tier cake, and food tasting. We held the reception in the Grand Ballroom, whose high ceilings, classical interiors, and grand staircase made for a dramatic entrance. It felt elegant but welcoming, with room for our 120 guests, dancing, staging, lighting, and styling, despite a stated maximum capacity of 500 pax. The Blue Room catered a classic Filipino menu with a refined touch, and guests are still talking about the Oxtail kare kare. We paid to extend the mobile cocktail drinks bar, and it was worth it. During cocktail hour between the ceremony and reception, there were Filipino delicacy stations, a Taho cart, and a Coffee cart that many guests called a lifesaver. Dinner was plated, beautifully presented, and served hot. The waitstaff were attentive, professional, and organised, and service ran smoothly all evening. We also stayed at Hillcreek Gardens Tagaytay and booked several rooms for our guests. Everyone had a pleasant stay. The bridal suites were spacious, pristine, and decorated with romantic floral touches that worked beautifully for photos. There was ample space for the bridal party and hair and makeup team, which kept preparations stress-free. One night in the bridal suite was complimentary, a generous inclusion. The other rooms were clean, roomy, and comfortable, and guests had only positive feedback. Reservations replied quickly and sorted out even last-minute changes without fuss. Breakfast ran from 7am-10am and was a hit, with Filipino and continental choices, especially hearty local dishes. The property is a lush, peaceful escape behind gated grounds with 24/7 security, so it felt private and safe. It doesn’t overlook Taal Lake, but the landscaped gardens and coconut trees more than made up for that. There’s a 1.5 metre swimming pool, spa services, The Blue Room, and the newly opened Byron’s, a glasshouse restaurant with lovely garden views. Our reception and stay exceeded what we’d imagined. With the scenery, food, service, and thoughtful inclusions, Hillcreek Gardens Tagaytay gave us a warm, elegant, memorable wedding. We’d absolutely choose it again. 9/10, highly recommended.

We attended a recent wedding here and had to book a room quickly. It was a very convenient experience, and the venue itself was great with good prices. I wish I’d been able to stay longer with the kids.
