The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and the location was pleasant and convenient, though the room was quite small. What soured the stay was the service, especially from the receptionist. We'd spent three nights in the same room and wanted to add one more. It had become noticeably dirty, so we politely asked to move rooms instead of requesting housekeeping. I was feeling unwell and couldn't leave, which made cleaning difficult with us still inside. The receptionist insisted we should have asked for housekeeping earlier, without showing much understanding or offering help. From check-in through that conversation, she came across as grumpy, cold, and hard to approach. We felt like a burden. The property itself has potential, and the bed and location could have made for a pleasant visit. But the receptionist's unprofessional manner and lack of basic customer care really affected the experience. She seems to lack the hospitality skills the role calls for. I hope management takes this seriously, since more empathy and better service could improve guests' stays.
