Chancellor Boracay Hotel

The calm atmosphere was what I appreciated most. This side of the island feels much more relaxing than the commercial areas of Stations 1 and 2, where vendors often approach you. It’s a good choice if you want a quiet stay away from the crowds, though the distance from D’Mall and the main party areas may not work for everyone. There are two private coves for hotel guests and township residents, and the facilities are excellent, including a well-equipped gym. The pool is shared with Belmont Hotel, but it was often quiet while I was there and still felt quite private. A shuttle to and from D’Mall also made getting around easier. My stay was complimentary and discounted through Megaworld, but I was treated like any other guest, with consistently good service and no special VIP treatment. One thing that could be clearer is the breakfast buffet: I didn’t know some items, like bacon, had to be requested from the servers.

The staff really came through for us on departure day. The company we’d booked for the airport transfer abandoned us and never showed up, leaving us stressed and already running late. Getting to the airport from Boracay means arranging transport to the port, a boat, then another transfer, and there are no taxis on the island. The guys found us a driver at that early hour who got us to the port quickly. They also brought a rental bike early in the morning at a much cheaper price than elsewhere on the island. The hotel is in a peaceful spot away from the main streets, with no transport nearby. It’s new, having opened in December 2025. Our room was small but cozy, fresh and clean, with daily housekeeping. The interior was pleasant and the hotel smelled lovely. All the staff spoke English very well, and the best beaches are close by. We found the area better and quieter than the center. The guys were polite, kind, and helped with everything we needed. I almost never write reviews, but they deserve it. Thank you, and I wish you all the best and continued success!

The view of the Keyhole from both the hotel and beach was great. The water was clear and calm, with less algae there. White Beach is a bit of a distance, and walking to the beach takes around 15 minutes. Coming back uphill felt like a cardio workout, though the hotel is quiet. You can get there on the HOHO bus: get off at 7-11 Newcoast and walk about 5-10 minutes. Breakfast was superb, with generous portions even though they plate it for you. I also loved their Shampoo Conditioner, it worked great with my hair.

We loved eating at the restaurant nearly every day, the food was so good. The pool, spa, lobby, rooms, and restaurant all carry the same beautiful, artistic and elegant feel. The Chancellor Hotel Boracay aims for perfection and delivers it in style. We were welcomed like VIPs and treated that way throughout our six-day stay. Robert, the head of housekeeping, kept everything to a very high standard, and his professionalism really impressed us. The staff were all well trained, friendly, helpful, and polite. We liked the Chancellor so much we didn’t want to leave. We’ll definitely be back time and again.
