We ate lunch at the hotel twice and liked the food, though the breakfast buffet didn’t really impress us. The staff, from the waiters to reception, were courteous and helpful, and the location put many places of interest nearby. There’s also a restaurant and bar just a few steps away that I think belongs to the same group, and we liked those spots too. I’d recommend staying here and would come back if we’re in Bacolod again.

Our family really enjoyed both pools, especially the children’s wave pool, which goes up to 4 feet, and the still pool. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were helpful and accommodating. Food was good overall, though breakfast buffet choices were limited. It’s also a convenient spot, with easy access from the jetty port and a mall nearby. We had a pleasant stay at Acacia Hotel Bacolod.

A handy place to stay in Bacolod, especially if you’re taking the ferry since it’s close to the port and easy to get around from there. The rooms are consistently clean and comfortable.

A friend who recently stayed here had an experience that makes me say, think twice before booking. Guest privacy and security should be a top priority, but during the early hours, when guests might be asleep or still working, a hotel staff member barged into their room and disrupted their privacy. That’s completely unacceptable and not something to negotiate away.

The room was roomy and quiet, and the water pressure was strong. We could conveniently refill our flasks at the water station in the corridor. The location is closer to SM than Lacson St., where most restaurants and cafes are, though Gina's is nearby and reachable on foot or by tricycle.
