Renovations are still going on, including around the reception and hallway, since the place is now partnered with OYO. The room itself felt new, and the staff paid attention to my questions and details. I stayed one night recently. The sheets and pillows were clean, and there’s a flat screen TV with cable, though finding a show takes patience. There’s cabinet storage for clothes and bags, but bring your own hanger. The bathroom has new tiles, a toilet with bidet, a new shower with the old but still useful heater, plus a lavatory and mirror. Wi-Fi is free, and the older air-conditioning unit worked well. They provided soap, shampoo with conditioner, one roll of toilet paper, and towels, though the towels were old. Parking is first come, first served, since the area is shared with other tenants and isn’t just for this pension house. I’m looking forward to seeing the finished renovations and further updates. It’s affordable and a few minutes’ walk from Davao Doctors Hospital and college, convenient if you have activities in Poblacion.

For a city center location, the price seems reasonable. Compared with other hotels in Davao, it’s fairly priced, with a nice, relaxing space. Restaurants and a convenience store nearby are the best part for me.

I spent three days here with my family for my sister’s graduation. It’s a budget inn with basic amenities, but if you mainly need somewhere to sleep, I’d recommend it.

After two days here, I was disappointed by how the room compared with the ads. It looked new and spacious there, but in reality it wasn’t very roomy. The building is quite old and needs repainting. There were no chairs in the room, and the towels were overused and yellowish.
