Casa Munda Bed & Breakfast

There are fruit-bearing trees and flowers all around, and they have al fresco dining. The food is good for sharing, too. Thanks, Casa Munda, for making my time in Davao pleasant and comfortable. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly :)

The guard was super polite, and security seemed good. The Wi-Fi worked decently at the bar, though it was choppy in the room. My clothes kept disappearing when I hung them outside to dry. I had to track down a maid and wait about 10 minutes for them to bring the clothes back from somewhere, and they didn’t understand when I asked them to stop. There’s nowhere to hang clothes indoors. The rooms don’t get cleaned at all, feel very humid, and lack air.

Good restaurants and diners are close by, and the clean rooms have the basic amenities. It’s a quaint, homey hostel. Getting there can be difficult without your own ride, since it’s a bit far from the main road.

The staff were helpful when I needed assistance. My room felt homey and was just the right size for me, and the rates were affordable. The location was convenient, too.
