Sunny Point Hotel

The one bright spot was the kind staff. Beyond that, this was the worst hotel I've stayed in. The rooms listed for three people were so cramped there wasn't space to lay out luggage, and the thin walls let every bit of outside noise through. The bathroom was tiny, had nowhere to put toiletries, and the water heater kept acting up. Sometimes there was a bad smell from the drain, too. I'd only send someone here if I wanted them to suffer.

The event hall and the areas around it were really pleasant. For Davao, this was one of the cleanest and newer-looking event rooms I've been in. We held a school event here. The buffet food was standard and okay, nothing special.

We're regulars here for events, and the service used to be nice. Today's experience was really bad. They charged 15,000 for just two hours with the sound system and a microphone, and nobody explained the services.

It feels like a second home: clean, safe, and right in the city. The staff are courteous and accommodating, and the food is excellent and affordable.
