Sunflower Hotel

Maria was especially helpful when I found out my assigned room had no mobile signal. She kindly moved me to one with better coverage because she didn't want me to miss an online meeting that night. The staff are well trained and polite, and greet customers whenever they get the chance. Great service, Maria. Keep it up!

The location is good, but our two-night stay with my wife was a disappointment. We were visiting my sister-in-law and her newborn. The staff were friendly, but the property and its limited amenities were in disarray. It cost ₱990 a night, and I don't think it was worth it. There's a ₱500 deposit per reservation, though I'm not sure why, since the room only had a small TV. No kettle, clock, or other nice touches. The WiFi worked for maybe two hours total during our stay. The air conditioner leaked, so we had to put a bucket and small rugs underneath it. Water collected on the bathroom floor, which isn't a wet bathroom, so using the sink meant standing in a puddle. The property isn't well kept, housekeeping wasn't attentive, and there weren't even door hangers for guests to contact them. Update: They replied asking me to email my concerns, but those concerns were never properly followed up. What a joke of a proprietor. I downgraded my rating to one star over the business ethics.

The room was average, and there were no bugs, which was a plus. Service was okay, but the elevator and WiFi weren't working. Also, whoever chose the giant horse picture for the headboard must never have woken up to that huge horse head as the first thing they see in the morning.

The rooms were good, and the other staff were nice, but the elevator wasn't working. Our Agoda booking details hadn't synced with the hotel's system. We had an email confirmation, yet the receptionist said we had a different booking. She seemed rude, or maybe confused. I wish she'd helped with our problem instead of focusing on their 'policy', since it wasn't our fault.
