One Oasis by OYO Rooms

(This was back in 2023.) The best part was the scenery. Being surrounded by tall buildings and their outer designs made the place feel rich and luxurious. The interiors may vary by room, but ours was pretty minimalist. There was plenty to hang out around outside, including a swimming pool and basketball court. The pool seemed more acidic than usual and actually hurt my eyes. Staff were strict but polite.

From the outside it looks nice, and it’s good for a small family. SM is within walking distance. We stayed one night and had two power outages, one in the evening and one in the morning. Our room faced SM City Davao, and the generator and passing cars were the main problem. You couldn’t open the window or door without hearing them. The water smelled rusty, the hallways were dull and old, especially the lights, and the internet was SLOW 😂. For a staycation, avoid rooms in building 2 that face SM City Davao.

At arrival, the guard wouldn’t let us in until we knew our room number. We hadn’t had any communication with the owner of the room we rented, and they weren’t answering the phone. After about 30 minutes, the guard managed to reach the owner and we were allowed in. We rented a decent, nothing fancy one-bedroom apartment in Building 4 for a week. We also took a two-bedroom in Building 1 for one night. It wasn’t horrible, but there were cockroaches in that room. Even so, I’ll most likely rent an apartment in this facility again.

I rented two different condos here, and neither was properly maintained. The furniture was damaged, the cooking pots were burnt, and the water dispensers may have been damaged too. Check the unit carefully and report everything. Take photos with the date and time visible so you have proof and aren't asked to pay for damage.
