The Bourke Hotel

We used to be regular customers, but after what happened, we're not coming back. Room 304 was infested with cockroaches, so we asked to move and were given another room. The new room had an overpowering perfume smell on the bed, pillows, and robes. We complained because it was so strong, then they charged us for a premium room and said we'd agreed to pay. We hadn't. Moving rooms because of the cockroaches and suffocating perfume wasn't our fault. The staff were friendly, but if they care more about charging customers than looking after them, we're done. Cockroaches are a big no in a hotel.

The Bourke is a good place to stay in Davao, not far from downtown. The staff are friendly, cheerful, helpful, and easy to approach with requests. Breakfast at bramble was the best part: everything was fresh, and the aroma and plating made the delicious food look really creative. 🤗☺️

It's a friendly, stylish little boutique hotel, well placed for getting around on foot. The room was very comfortable, with a big TV and Netflix and a large, comfy double bed, though it showed a bit of wear. They can bring the complimentary breakfast from the adjoining Bramble cafe to your room for free. The courtyard also has excellent Mexican and Steakhouse restaurants, and there's a pharmacy across the street where you can buy water. I'd stay here again.

Beautiful rooms, polished and welcoming staff, and exquisite breakfasts included with the stay. I'm really happy with my reservation. They went above and beyond what I expected.
