The Big House A Heritage Home

We dropped in for a spontaneous meal, and it turned out to be a superb experience. The place felt homey but elegant, and the owner even came over to chat. Jolina was especially welcoming and went out of her way to help. My phone had almost no battery and wouldn't turn on, so she borrowed a charger from a coworker and charged it so my boyfriend and I could get a few photos of our intimate date. Service like that deserves to be known. Thank you! 🥰

I came for the restaurant, and the food and service were good. It cost a little more than I'd expected, but the meal was still good.

Our favorite part was the quiet garden, where we could relax with drinks or play on the grass. My wife, son, and I were in Davao for a few days, and we found this place on our third hotel hop. I've stayed in a lot of places around Davao over the years, and this is one of the best. The rooms are quaint and very comfortable, and the staff were friendly and knew the area well. We had the Oscar room. The beds seemed smaller, but fit me perfectly at 6 foot 4 inches, and were just the right softness. Breakfast was tasty and homemade. There are lots of places to eat nearby, and S&R is close if you need to shop. We'll stay here again when we come back to Davao. Thanks to the staff, you were great!

Breakfast was hearty and tasty, and we also ate at the restaurant on our last night. Our flight was delayed, so we arrived late, but reception still greeted us after midnight and were very helpful. There were some mosquitos in our room, and they had no problem spraying the next day. Great customer service, with a very friendly, family-oriented feel. We had a great stay at The Big House and highly recommend it if you're in Davao.
