The Executive Villa Inn & Suites

It was quiet and relaxing, and the staff were all very helpful. The shower in my room never got hot, though. That kept me from giving it five stars, so I’d rate it four.

The staff were really good about bringing the things we asked for, including tissue, an extra pitcher of water, and breakfast at 5:30. Still, the place needs renovation. I liked the idea of an old ancestral house turned into a resort, but our stay didn’t feel like being in a villa. Our room was much smaller than the photo I’d been shown. The tub and shower had no heater, or it wasn’t working that day, and there were no slippers. The window sills were rusting and coming apart. The comforter looked yellowish and not properly washed for months, and the bed had mold. Even with the aircon set to 16, the room wasn’t very cold. It was a decent stay overall, but the first thing to address should be renovating the area.

I stayed here for four days and liked it. I’d recommend it 👌 😌

The hotel looks great, and the staff are amazing and friendly. Without the mold problem, I’d give it five stars. The rooms are in the basement and had a strong mold and fungus smell. I didn’t think much of it at first, but I had a severe allergic reaction to the mold, the first one I’ve ever had. It led to pneumonia and hospitalization, with hospital bills in the tens of thousands. There’s a reason people usually don’t sleep in basements. It’s unhealthy. I reached out to the hotel and got no response at all. 😥
