The E-Hotel Makati

We booked this because our home had an electricity problem, and it was the cheapest option on booking.com. The location is great, only a few steps from Greenbelt, and the room was spacious and not bad at all. Free parking is available on a first come, first served basis. The lobby has a 1970s look, and I don't really understand the bad reviews. The main deal breaker was no bidet in the toilet. Staff said they'd already told the owner, but the Korean owner doesn't seem to want to listen. Our roadside room was REALLY NOISY.

I really appreciated Manager Yu sorting out our room type request, thank you! Check-in was quick, and the staff were professional and enthusiastic. We slept very well on the comfortable mattress and pillows. The room was clean and neatly arranged, with a bathroom that had both a shower and a bath, plus high-quality toiletries. The hotel is also close to major attractions and shopping areas, with convenient transport nearby.

The service was okay, and the lobby staff greeted us with smiles, but the rooms made this the worst stay of my life. We left even though we still had two nights booked. The hotel feels old everywhere, from the facade and lobby to the elevators and hallways, and it didn't feel homey. The room was spacious, but heavily worn, with signs of rain damage and possibly leaks in the corners. It was gloomy, and the bathroom cleanliness needs a lot of improvement despite its size and tub. My toddler's feet got filthy just from walking on the floor, and my baby kept itching and couldn't sleep all night. If you're travelling with family and toddlers, please don't book here. I wanted people to know what the rooms are like in 2025. Sorry, but they just aren't livable anymore.

This hotel is a definite no-go. The floors were sticky, the rooms and bathroom were dirty, and there was mould and damp throughout. Doors didn't work properly, and the windows and lights weren't working right either. The elevator doors squeezed people several times, and my shoulder still hurts from it. This isn't worth three stars. They even use pictures online from another hotel on booking.
