Even after checkout, the staff kept being helpful. They let me get into my stored luggage several times during the day, with no fuss, and lent me cutlery from the downstairs cafe so I could eat my takeaway food. I also liked the included breakfast, with plenty of local and Western options, and the location near nightlife. The amenities were solid, and everyone was friendly and welcoming.

Breakfast was a highlight, especially the local dishes, and the room was clean, cozy, and had what I needed. The staff were kind and ready to help throughout my pleasant stay at Herald Suites Polaris. It was easy to get to restaurants and shopping from the convenient location, while the area felt quiet and safe at night. I’d happily stay again on my next trip to Manila.

The rooms feel dated, but the hotel's old-fashioned charm and rustic atmosphere were enjoyable. What really made the stay was the exceptional staff, who made it easy to overlook the room's age.

Micah at reception was prompt and efficient, and Ralph at the Aurora Cafe understood my predicament with having too much non-veg food. He helped me get fresh fruit and kept the coffee coming. Jay in housekeeping was polite and thorough, and the doorman and other staff responded quickly and focused on helping guests. I was struck by how sincere their service seemed, without any expectation of tips. Hats off to the management and owners for building that spirit of service. Herald Suites Polaris in Makati, Manila was a real surprise. It was my first visit, so I booked ahead after seeing good photos on booking.com. The welcome felt cozy and warm, like five-star quality in a four-star setting.
