East Square Inn

It's handy for food and close to SaveMore. They may allow early check-in when a room is free, at 100 per hour, as long as you're staying the night. The nearby bar can make nights noisy. Rooms are small, with no amenities, and there's no elevator. The bathroom is cramped too, and sitting on the toilet properly is difficult. They're strict about incidental deposits.

The staff were pleasant and accommodating, which helped. The rates are affordable, but the amenities need work. On our second stay, the hot and cold shower in the family room didn't work. The cable had only 6-7 channels, and cleanliness needs more attention.

The rooms were okay, and I wasn't expecting much from the TV anyway. But cleanliness was a serious concern, and there was a huge cockroach in our room. There isn't an elevator, so I wouldn't suggest staying here with lots of luggage or heavy bags.

For a super cheap room, it's usable, but it's tiny, the foam mattress isn't great, and it wasn't very clean. The hot water didn't work, and my knees touched the wall when I used the toilet. I'd spend a little extra for more comfort.
