You can walk to the mall, and the price is low for such a convenient spot. Just be ready for an older hotel with a noticeable smell and a bathroom that wasn't very clean. The AC got cold, though it may not be well maintained. Internet was slow and patchy, and nearby bar music can carry over.

The water turned black and smelled like swamp water about a minute after I started showering at 7 in the morning. This was the second time it happened, and nobody had warned us about maintenance. Even hours later I could still smell it on my skin. Management showed no consideration for guests, and I won't come back.

The staff were friendly and did what they could, but the hotel's hygiene was disgusting. Cockroaches lived in the skirting boards and headboards, and we had to move the beds to keep them from crawling onto the sheets. The photo we compiled for the front desk at checkout showed only a few of the bugs we killed. The room phone was useless, with no emergency contact list, not even for the front desk. The refrigerators didn't work and had no instructions. The complimentary glasses in the toilets looked foggy and didn't seem to be cleaned or replaced regularly. Wi-Fi was unreliable, unsuitable for remote work or online study, and the supposed free Wi-Fi passes ran out at odd times. The place was dirty. Choose another hotel.

The staff were professional and always ready to help. Our Premier room with a king bed was comfortable, and both the hot water and water pressure were good. The air conditioning worked well too. We didn't use the pool, but it looked clean and pleasant. SM mall is a five-minute walk away, with several restaurants nearby and more options in the food court, mostly within a ten-minute walk.
