The complaints here come from our own stay and what we experienced. We found that the name changed from Patio Inn to Platinum in 2023 under new third-party management, and the original staff were all dismissed. Complaints made from 2023 to 2025 were reportedly addressed without being brought to management's attention, and management never apologized for staff mishandling. False room photos and service claims were also posted. Concerns about the watchman's unprofessional management were raised with local authorities in 2024-2025. Was anything resolved? No. They need to replace the current staff with professionals, or at least people with morals and ethics. Stay away because of poor handling and health regulation issues. It's disgusting. The place is not accredited by the Department of Tourism. Four expat guests who stayed from January to May 2025 confirmed and forwarded these accounts: 1. Social media, Facebook, Booking, and rural advertising pamphlets listed a monthly rate of Ph Pesos 20,000 with electricity and water included. Another one-month rate was Ph Pesos 9,000 plus 250 for water per person, with electricity charged at Ph 17 per kilowatt. The guest called that a rip-off, saying the appliances were consuming electricity even when not in use. 2. The restaurant, pool, services, cleanliness, and rooms are said to have declined since the original expat owner died. One account described the establishment as neglected and left to a watchman with little service knowledge or manners, who would say only “sir” or “mam” instead of listening, and called it a major disappointment. That guest said they would never return. 3. Another account called it a waste of money and said that, despite the low price, they would not recommend it for health or safety, especially with local drunkards and noisy families making things worse.

I was there for 10 weeks recently, and the standard rooms weren't consistent in size. Seems like management may have changed. There wasn't a cleaner during my stay, so if you want the room cleaned, you'd better do it yourself. The restaurant is separate from the hotel. It runs roughly 10 or 11 in the morning until 8 or 9 at night, so breakfast is better next door. The food itself is good.

The manager, JOEBERT COLLETA, was rude and dismissive when I raised concerns, and did nothing to help or put things right. The property had looked great online, but the details in the booking were misleading and the actual hotel fell short of the luxury I expected. The whole stay was disappointing. I wouldn't recommend it, and I won't return.

Set away from the main drag, this nice hotel is still close enough for nightlife. The rooms are well priced, and there's a bar and small pool for a relaxing break. The action is only a short bike ride away.

Really good experience, and the people were very nice.
