The bed was comfortable, but the CR could use a more thorough clean. I paid 500php for a capsule room because I was arriving late and only needed somewhere to sleep. The 1K deposit was actually more than the stay, and renting a fan cost another 100pesos. There was just one outlet, so I had to choose between charging my phone and sleeping with the fan on. I was so tired that I didn’t mind much at the time, but I’m sure I won’t be back. Those stairs from the Metrobank entrance are brutal, especially carrying luggage up to the 4th floor, hahaha. The back exit from the 4th floor is alright, though the walk back up is pretty steep.

The kitchen has a breathtaking view, and you can use the microwave and hot water for free. Pans and pots cost 250php to use, and there’s a 1,000php key deposit. The Wi-Fi was fast, the room had a TV, and the shower had hot water. This was my second visit. Two years ago I had a single dorm bed; this time I chose a private room with its own bathroom. It smelled stuffy and moldy, maybe because it had no outside-facing windows. The only windows looked onto the hallway, so there wasn’t much fresh air.

Affordable, with a nice view over Baguio City. Seems especially suited to solo backpackers, and jeepneys to Baguio Plaza pass right outside.

The staff were nice, but the bathroom was really dirty. There was no toilet paper, soap, towels, or even cups for water. Everything costs extra. It wasn’t much money, just a hassle.

The room was dim even with every light on, and noise from the hallway carried clearly, even footsteps. The bathroom smelled bad, and the heater looked like it was about to fall apart. The pillows and bedding had an odor too, and made my skin itchy. Parking was cramped and limited, and we were charged 1,500 because our car was parked behind the transient house. We also left a 1,000 deposit, which we got back after checking out. We stayed one night and it wasn't a good experience.
