Hotel Veniz Session

We came back last Tuesday for one night in a Superior Queen room. The price was reasonable, and this time breakfast was a buffet on the 8th floor. On our previous visit, we got a McDonald’s breakfast voucher. Session Road is right there, with popular Baguio spots and lots of restaurants and fast food places close by. The noise was the downside. The rooms aren’t soundproof, and we could hear guests and staff walking and talking loudly in the hallway, so it was hard to relax. It’s still an okay place, but light sleepers or anyone sensitive to noise might want to look elsewhere.

For what I paid, this was a real bargain. Breakfast was included as a buffet, though the selection was limited and budget style. There’s indoor parking in the basement, accessed from the back road. The Superior Twin is medium-sized and has no window, which helped keep the room quiet, away from the busy roads in Baguio. It also had a coffee maker, a safe, and a nice bathroom, but no fridge.

The staff were friendly, accommodating, and good at their jobs. The rooms are cozy too, and there was a great selection at the breakfast buffet. I’d definitely stay here again :)

The location is great and very central, and the building feels sturdy. Having no windows in most rooms is a downside, though it can be useful during a typhoon. Staff are friendly, but the service is only okay because they don’t really cater to guests’ needs.
