The rooms were clean, towels were provided, the bed was comfortable, and the service was straightforward. Still, for this price range I was surprised that basic items like a toothbrush and toothpaste weren’t supplied. Baguio is cold, so opening the window can be fine, but neighboring businesses can get loud sometimes. They only let you open the screen and don’t allow you to close the window. The toilet also needs attention: whenever you flush, there’s a drainage smell. That needs fixing.

The water kept failing during our stay. It came back after being fixed, then became unstable and stopped again, so we couldn't shower or use the bathroom. The room phone wasn't answered, and staff said it didn't ring for them. We had to go down to reception whenever we needed something that should have been provided, and they couldn't give us a number to call from the room. When we raised the problem, we were told, "eh di magcomplain kayo!" The cheek of saying that to paying guests. Rather than offering another solution, they left the burden with us because the room had already been paid for. I've never stayed somewhere so inhospitable. Check-in was frustrating too. We arrived with friends at 1:10pm and were brusquely told, "2pm pa check in niyo." We accepted the standard check-in time and waited. At 1:58pm, they asked us to wait longer because other guests had just checked out and they were still preparing our room. They said it might be ready around 2:30, or 2:15 at the earliest. They were strict about our check-in time, but seemed to think being late themselves was fine. Don't be misled by the high ratings. They don't answer calls and are slow to respond to problems.

The building looks quite old, and the staff weren't welcoming. When I brought up a concern, they kept passing me from one staff member to another. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

There's no curfew, which is handy if you're out late. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and I liked having a choice of Filipino breakfast dishes. The rooms also have electric fans, though Baguio's weather might not always suit that. It's a quiet, cozy spot away from central Baguio, so traffic didn't disturb us at night. The building is dated and could use some fresh paint, but the price was reasonable enough that I didn't mind.

We felt right at home, and the staff were so kind and helpful. They also gave us advice about places to visit. We stayed last September and will definitely, definitely, definitely come back. 🥺
