Marian Kisad Hotel

Agoda said all the rooms had air conditioning, but in reality there was just 1 electric fan that didn't oscillate 180 degrees. The quadruple room had only 1 bulb lamp. It wasn't clean, and the hotel was old.

I regret trusting some of the reviews. This was a nightmare, and I would never return or recommend it. We paid almost 3k for 2 pax, even though cheaper and better places with free breakfast are available near Burnham. The room was old and very basic, with a bad smell and ruglike pillowcases. The bedding looked dirty, and there was no water deposit for flushing. The bidet pressure was like the firefighters' hose, lol. There was also an odd extra door that guests from other floors could use in case of fire, so there was no privacy. Pricey and the worst.

The location is a big plus: right across from childrens park/Burnham, with everything walkable and no loud traffic noise at night. Parking is free, and it works well for kids, pets, groups, or families. The staff are friendly and accommodating, breakfast comes with one of the biggest pork chops in the city, lol, and there's unli coffee any time of day. Rooms are spacious with good bathrooms and hot ang cold shower. No AC, but who needs it in bagiuo? It's old and not a 3-5 star hotel, but still a viable budget choice for the price.

The room rate is really good, and the service was good too. The rooms were clean, though the cigarette smell was still there. They also provide free coffee.
