Paragon Hotel and Suites

We had the king suite, a huge room with big windows looking over the park and the surrounding hillside. Breakfast was included, though just okay. The location is great, right across from Burnham Park and an easy walk to the city market and night market.

01/30/2026: We decided to add time to our Baguio stay and were lucky to find a room where my two teenagers and I could be comfortable. We packed up and moved over, then had another 3 days (3D2N) to enjoy tourist spots around the city center and nearby. The complimentary breakfast was yum, and the vacation was hassle-free. We'll stay here again next time.

The hotel has a grand, old-fashioned feel that was a delight to experience, right beside the park. The market and places to eat are close by, and taxis and jeepneys are nearby too. Staff were exceptionally helpful, polite, and charming. The front desk is open 24 hours. The bathroom was large, with good fixtures, plenty of hot water, and strong pressure. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked well, and security was excellent. The doors use old-style keys. I'd come back.

My stay at Paragon Hotel was really disappointing. The staff were rude and disrespectful, especially an older woman who looks like Pokwang, and that set a bad tone right away. The rooms were dusty and moldy, clearly not well kept, and the bedsheets didn't look clean. One housekeeping attendant was particularly ill-mannered and acted as if they owned the hotel instead of giving proper service. The location was only okay. Being near bars made it noisy and unpleasant. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone wanting a clean, welcoming, professional place.
