Dianna'S Inn

The area was quiet and the location very convenient, and all the staff were kind and accommodating. A couple of room details could use attention: the air conditioner blows right at the bed’s head, and by the time I got home my nose was a little runny and sensitive. The shower heater was tricky too. Level 1 was too hot, but the middle setting turned cold, so I had to mix the water by hand. Just passing that along in case it helps future guests.

I had to walk up and down three floors whenever I needed help because there was no phone in the room to call reception. Complimentary coffee and water were available, but there was no food menu or clear way to order anything else. The room itself fell short. The bed was extremely hard, the air conditioner was loud, and the only toiletry provided was shampoo, with no shower gel. I was disappointed and struggle to see how Dianna’s Inn is considered a 4-star hotel. The experience felt below that rating, and I wouldn’t stay here again.

Service and location were good, and it’s about a five-minute walk to town. But the rooms and beds really let the place down. The laundry we asked them to do came back dirty and stained. Our queen single room was tiny, and the bathroom was so cramped I had to sit sideways on the toilet. It doesn’t really work for two people. The bed was rock-hard, with only a thin wool blanket, no duvet or flat sheet like we expected.

We stayed for three nights in Coron, my husband and I. The staff were warm, friendly, and accommodating, and they can arrange a shared airport shuttle for 250php per person. There was always coffee, tea, and hot and cold water in the passage dining area. We could also use the rooftop terrace to dry clothes. The area was peaceful and handy for the main spots, about a five-minute walk away. Our basic room was decent, with air conditioning, shampoo, soap, a toothbrush and toothpaste, plus a stand for hanging clothes. The bathroom had hot and regular water. The shower hose was too short, but we figured out a trick: twist it around the shower pole so it’s easier to use.
