Pines View Hotel

The buffet was really disappointing, especially the rice, which was uncooked. The Wi-Fi was very slow, and the TV had no cable and wasn’t a smart TV. Even the towel looked old and as if it had been used for a long time. The worst hotel I’ve stayed at.

The karaoke noise came through the building every night, with no sound barrier to keep it out, and it was so annoying. Wi-Fi didn’t work in all the rooms, and we had to ask up to four times before anyone cleaned ours. We stayed for more than 10 days and kept asking for better service, but it never improved. The worst hotel I’ve stayed at in the Philippines.

The reception staff were polite, but that was about the only bright spot. Our room service request never came, and when a conference group kept shouting and making noise in the hallway until morning, reception did nothing after we called and asked them to quiet down. We couldn’t sleep. The toilets were moldy, and there was no hand towel or bottled water. For such a pricey stay, the service was below par. A horrible experience.

The staff and guards were very helpful, and the room was spacious, clean, and had a smart TV. Breakfast was included depending on the room booked, but ours at the cafe wasn’t good and we didn’t enjoy it. We ordered daing na bangus and longganisa. The daing na bangus was just a baby bangus, and the longganisa wasn’t worth trying. I wish they’d put foot rugs in the bathroom, since its floor gets so cold.
