Reddoorz Hostel @ Baguio Piraso

I’ve stayed in cheap motels before and wasn’t expecting anything fancy, but the bed left me feeling greasy after only a few minutes. The sheets seemed oily and used, like they hadn’t been changed. It felt as if someone had just had a full body massage on them and staff had sprayed fabric conditioner over the smell. My skin felt like it had picked up somebody else’s body oil. It was disgusting and didn’t feel clean or hygienic.

The rooms are clean, and the accommodation is cheaper. It’s also easy to get to the tourist spots around baguio.

The rooms are pretty basic, but there’s fast Wi-Fi and parking. There’s no reception at night, and the gate has to be shut. The blanket is thin. My rating is lower because this is the first hotel I’ve stayed in without a water jet or hose, and they don’t even supply toilet paper. Please fix that soon.

Getting around is easiest if you already know the city or have a rented scooter. The spot itself has a lovely view and fresh air, though the bed wasn’t great and the blanket felt thin and rough.
