RL Veranda Suites

We were happy we picked RL Veranda Suites. The price is affordable, and the rooms work well for families. Our studio deluxe was clean and spacious, with WiFi, towels, kitchen utensils, a fridge, toiletries except toothpaste and toothbrush, and a hot and cold shower. We also liked the veranda and its view of Baguio city. The staff were friendly, and we had a great stay.

We were five adults and two kids in one of the family rooms, and it worked well for a group. It had two spacious bedrooms, one with a queen bed and its own toilet and bath, and the other with two single beds. They also provided two foldable mattresses, towels, and basic toiletries. There’s a Smart TV for Netflix, plus basic cooking utensils, an electric pot, and an induction stove, so you can prepare your own food. Basement parking is secure behind an electronic roll-up gate. We met one of the owners, Sir Roger, who was very nice and welcoming. The price was the best part: P2,800 a night for a two-bedroom unit with a sala, kitchen, and dining area. That’s unbelievably cheap compared with most places in Baguio.

It’s fine if you just need somewhere to sleep for the night. The rooms are big, and there’s basement parking for six large SUVs. Burnham Park and nearby restaurants are a 10-minute walk away. There isn’t a memorable view of Baguio city.

The place was spacious, had a nice view, and our experience was good overall. The receptionist was accommodating. The issue was that there’s no staff member on duty 24 hours to help with whatever you might need. We returned around 2am and let ourselves in with our key, including through the garage area.
