The staff were alright, though their communication could probably be better. That wasn't what bothered me most. At night, after 9 PM, the pavement leading to the Log Cabin was exceptionally dark, and walking there felt like I needed a flashlight and a bit of courage. The Botanical Garden, Wright Park, and other tourist spots are close by, which is convenient during the day. The room was small, old, and not well maintained enough to justify the roughly ₱2,000+ per night we paid. You could clearly hear other guests opening doors at night, as if there were barely any wall between us and the outside. There's no soundproofing at all, and I don't think a place advertised as a hotel should be like that. For the same price, other places offer better value.

The rules are pretty easy to follow as long as you're not messy, lol. I had a great stay, though I was usually out. It's quite expensive, but I thought it was worth it since the necessities were all there, including a mini ref, free breakfast buffet, and hot water. The towel might not be new, but you can ask the staff for another one. The place is near tourist spots and a convenience store, and it's a good option if you want to visit the botanical garden, mines view park, the mansion, and wright park.

The location made it easy to visit nearby sights, including the botanical garden and silver shop tourist attractions, and there was 24-hour security, which felt reassuring. Breakfast was all-you-can-eat, with around 5 dishes. Nothing fancy, but filling, and they also had free water refills. For the price, it was a good stay. The room was decent and comfortable, and while the hotel is a bit old, it was maintained well enough to be pleasant. A solid budget choice with the basics.

The pines view suit was spacious and came with its own parking space, though it wasn't covered. It's an old wooden-house setup with no elevator and no other amenities, so it's mainly good for an overnight stay. Breakfast was nothing special, but there was enough to fill you up before a busy day.

The location is handy, close to Botanical Gardens and within walking distance of Wright Park and the Mansion. This boutique hotel has a charming feel, clean, large rooms, good breakfast, and parking for guests.
