The resort is clean and has strong wifi, but I found it really inconvenient that there was no tissue or paper towel in the downstairs dining hall and event room. I had to go back to my room for tissue and miss part of the program. There’s also no way to dry your hands, so the washroom floor stays wet and messy. Providing those little conveniences would make the place feel more polished, especially for tourists and balikbayans who are used to having them.

It’s a quiet, cozy place, and the breakfast was nice. I especially liked their Bangsilog. The main town is close, so there are options if you feel like going out at night.

Be careful. I caught one of the workers, a shady-looking guy, going through my belongings. He had disconnected the CCTV, and the staff couldn’t prove what he did. They said they weren’t allowed to fire him, so he’s still on the premises.

Nirvana Resort is a peaceful place to unwind, with spacious, clean rooms and fresh-smelling bed linen. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there’s a nice pool, no crowds, and a restaurant with a lovely bay view. The property has a small beach, but I wouldn’t swim or walk there. You can sit on a sun lounger and watch the fish; the water looks clean enough to enjoy the view, but not much beyond that. Laundry came back on time and smelled nice, though it could have been folded more neatly. My bathroom was small but clean and functional. The main drawback was the weak internet. Wi-Fi barely worked in my room and really needs improvement. Still, for this kind of hotel, it was a decent stay, 4/5.
