The owner was nice and kept asking how he could improve the place. The air conditioning was cold, the PLDT Fibr internet was fast, and since we had a ground-floor room, the free Wi-Fi reached inside. The beach had waves that were enjoyable to swim in and seemed okay for kids, though it was busy and littered. The access road in this part of town was a disorganized mess too. We booked for four, but the room felt cramped, and there was a smell from the toilet, maybe from the sewage line. This is a stretch of Sabang where resorts seem to pop up without much regulation. I guess you get what you pay for.

They were so kind to us, and let us check in earlier than our reservation. The rooms had all the things we needed, including a fan and air conditioning, plus each one had its own bathroom and shower. There are three stores very close by, and 7-11 is within walking distance. It's a great place to stay in Baler. They even offered us the best tour guides in town. We were very satisfied, and the owners, Mate Joy and the other guy who smokes a lot, were fun to chat with.

This is a nice spot to relax and recharge, especially if you're on a tight budget or need a break after a 12-hour motorcycle ride. It's not a white-sand beach here in Baler, Aurora, but you can look out over the wide sea and watch the small waves. The place isn't fancy, but there are different room options and the service was great. Free Wi-Fi is available, though it depends on which room you get. They can also cash out GCash for PHP 60 per PHP 1,000. If you don't have your own transport, they had a free tricycle service to the nearest town, where you can find convenience stores, ATMs, and a Jollibee.

The beachfront inns in Baler are mostly cramped, low quality, and expensive. Try looking a short walk from the beach instead. You can find hotels that are roomier and higher quality for the same price, sometimes even less.
