Easy Adventure

We stopped in for lunch, and it turned out to be a lovely surprise. My asawa shrimps were delicious, and I loved the garden salad. I can’t speak to the amenities, but the spot by the river is relaxing. The beach is far away, though it’s a quaint area with a great restaurant.

We wanted something different for our 25th wedding anniversary, since we’d already had a traditional wedding 25 years earlier, so we celebrated with 20 close friends and family in a glamping style. It was a fun, unforgettable two days for all of us. Three weeks later, our guests were still happy and thanking us for inviting them. The campsite staff and the team at their head office were efficient and accommodating. I asked for a small table to use as an altar for renewing our vows, with our priest friend as celebrant. Instead, they arranged everything beautifully. The tents, beds, and pillows were very clean. Even our very “maselan” guest slept peacefully. The fireflies were the real icing on the cake. They came out in full force on the night of Jan 18, 2017, and it felt magical. This place is worth trying, and we highly recommend it. December, January, and February are the best times to visit.

Quiet, clean, remote and relaxed, with polite, helpful staff and great food. It’s close enough to town, but far enough away to feel like an escape. If you want a break from the city while keeping a few comforts, this is the spot.

A super chill campsite with healthy, tasty food and great views of both the beach and river. Sunrise, stargazing, and watching the fireflies are the best.
