This might work for a backpacker, but I was traveling with children. I booked two nights and left after one. The room was tiny, and using the ancient air conditioner cost extra. Dogs lounged in the common room, and there was no parking. I wouldn’t come back.

The dogs are so lovely, and the place has a homey feel. The price was okay, and it’s only a short walk to Sabang Beach, aka surf beach. Staff spend time with the guests, and we got free breakfast during our stay. It’s pet friendly too. Highly recommended.

I came alone and had initially booked just two weekend nights, but the atmosphere suited me so well that I stayed four more. It was great value for money. I liked having a hot and cold water dispenser, strong Wi-Fi that stayed on while I worked each night, and a place to cook. I could do laundry too, and my clothes dried in a day in the sun. The host and other guests were awesome, though I may have just been lucky that time. There are THREE CUTE DOGS, and the upstairs terrace was a nice place to work in the early afternoon. It may not suit families, people allergic to animals, or anyone looking for somewhere posh. It’s clean, relaxed, and full of down-to-earth people, with no fuss. The beach is about a 10-minute walk away, or you can take a trike for 14 pesos.

We stayed for a quick getaway, and the place was nice. The beach is about a five-minute walk away. There’s a kitchen guests can use, the bathrooms are okay, and I liked the wall art. The Ate who helped us throughout our stay was accommodating.

I spent some time here, though not as much as I’d have liked, and was extremely happy with the stay. It’s clean and quiet, with simple, low-key decor. They provide free drinking water and clean towels, and the Wi-Fi signal is strong. There’s a distinctive character to the place and a pervasive chill vibe that somehow makes everyone staying there nicer. Matt, Brandon and Eidar made check-in and checkout quick and easy, and gave me tips and introductions to local spots. It’s a pity I couldn’t stay longer. I’ll be back! 100% recommended.
